Margie Greenfield, Program Manager in the Information Management and Technology (IMT) Healthcare Information Systems department at Upstate Medical University, recently participated in a 'Virtual Nursing - Improving Operational Efficiencies' webinar hosted by Becker’s Healthcare that focused on the obstacles and opportunities associated with virtual nursing.

Greenfield joined a panel that included Gerard Frunzi, Director of Virtual Care at CommonSpirit Health (Formerly Centura health) and Denise Hauca, RN, Clinical Lead at Iron Bow Healthcare Solutions. The webinar was sponsored by Iron Bow Healthcare Solutions and moderated by their Chief Strategy Officer, Angie Stevens.

As a program manager at Upstate Medical University, Greenfield has worked with cross-functional teams within Upstate to implement a new video visit platform as well as a virtual discharge pilot that launched in December 2023.
