Operations and Networking Services

Network Services is responsible for the campus data (computer) network infrastructure.

This includes the physical connections for all computer devices on the University and Community Campuses as well as 30 remote sites, fiber optic backbone, switches, routers, gateways, firewalls, remote access and connectivity to the Internet. In addition to day-to-day operations support, we provide advanced design services for the creation of departmental, hospital, and campus wide data networks and planning support of large moves/adds/changes for devices connected to the network. Network Services provides 24x7 coverage for network outages or other critical network related issues.
